Fife Solar Hub is a trading name of Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd, registered in Scotland. We are a renewable energy consultancy and introducer service. We do not carry out installations ourselves. All installations are delivered by pre-vetted MCS-certified partner companies in our installer network.

Fife Solar Hub, Scottish Energy Efficiency, and Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd are not MCS, TrustMark, RECC, or NICEIC certified in their own right. These accreditations are held by the individual installer partner companies in our network. When we refer to "MCS-certified installers" we mean the companies in our partner network, not ourselves.
Our survey and quote service is free and carries no obligation. You are under no obligation to proceed with any installer partner we introduce. We act as an intermediary and earn a referral fee from installer partners when an installation proceeds.
Planning consent for solar panels in conservation areas (including UNESCO Dunfermline, East Neuk villages, St Andrews conservation zones) and listed building consent for solar on listed properties is at the sole discretion of Fife Council. Fife Solar Hub and its installer partners will use reasonable endeavours to obtain required consents, but cannot guarantee that consent will be granted. Obtaining planning permission may incur costs. We recommend obtaining written confirmation of consent requirements from Fife Council before proceeding.
Grid connection approval from SP Distribution (Scottish Power Energy Networks) is required for most solar installations. G99 approval for larger systems can take 45+ working days. Our installer partners manage DNO applications, but we cannot guarantee approval timescales or outcomes. We are not affiliated with SP Distribution.
Energy bill savings and generation estimates provided on this website are indicative only, based on typical Fife solar yields and average energy prices. Actual savings will vary based on your property, orientation, consumption patterns, and energy tariff. All estimates are illustrative and not a guarantee of financial returns.
The £100 referral bonus is payable when: (a) you refer a named person to Fife Solar Hub; (b) that person submits an enquiry citing your referral; and (c) an installation is completed by an installer in our network within 12 months of referral. Payment is made by BACS within 30 days of installation completion. One referral bonus per successful installation. Referrals must be made in good faith to genuine third parties. Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd reserves the right to withdraw or modify this scheme with 30 days' notice.
For every suitability survey completed via this website, Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd commits to planting one tree through its designated reforestation charity partner. Trees are planted in batches. We reserve the right to change our charity partner with 30 days' notice published on this website.
