2. What data we collect

When you complete a survey or contact form we collect: full name, email address, phone number, postcode, property type, current heating, monthly energy bill, service interests, listed or conservation area status, and UTM/referral source data. We also collect standard web analytics via cookies.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to: call or email you about your enquiry, match you with an installer partner, send your details to installer partners covering your area, comply with legal obligations, and improve our website. Legal basis: legitimate interests and consent.

4. Contact form vs survey form data routing

Enquiry data is retained for up to 3 years to allow follow-up and aftercare. You may request deletion at any time.

8. Your rights

You have UK GDPR rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability. Email info@scottishenergyefficiency.co.uk to exercise these rights. Complaints can be made to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
